Designer Watches

Spring is here, summer is around the corner, many of us have vehicles in storage  that we only use in the warm months.  As the season approaches, so does the excitement, before I go into my motorhome, I usually make up a list of all the winterized items, I can now open and check, to make sure it still works. I Walk around the rig, check tire pressure, look under, hopefully not to see any leaks, checking roof from possible damage. Looking in engine compartment, checking all fluid levels, radiator levels, transmission, batteries, generator fluid levels, starting and running, watching the guages and letting it run for 10 to 15 minutes.  One of the first large tasks I take on, is power washing the rig completely.  The body shell is all fiberglass, any scuffs or marks I simonize out.  Then I wax, and electrically buff too a high luster.  Have found over the years, this provides protection, allowing branches to rub over the fiberglass and slipping over the body without doing any damage.  Also protects from bug marks and bird droppings, allowing to be washed off easily.  Also most boats today are built out of fiberglass and the same principals for cleaning can be applied annually.  My other toy, is a  sports car that I maintain myself, such as brakes, suspension, transmission, clutch, and other autoparts, I keep in prestine condition, like showroom quality.  Last week we had our first warm day, motorcylists were out cruising, as gas prices here in the northeast continue to climb, more motorcycles like Harley-Davidsons are seen.  Many of the folks that ride these Bikes enjoy the heavy quality and cadillac feel, while many owners replace needed parts for their Harley’s.  Many young and old enjoy Harley-Davidson clothing and accessories to show off the Brand.  Summer for me is the Best Season, this is when my Fun Begins.
